Hello to everyone out on the world wide web! In my discussion with David Beltramo, PT we always come back to movement and walking. At some point in his day, whether it is a lunch break, before work or after work we both try to get in extra steps and get outside. We can’t get to it every day, but almost every time we agree that we feel better afterward on the days that we do. Sneaking in this little activity just feels good. Even though we may need an extra layer of Gore-Tex in the northwest, the extra blood flow, fresh air and just a chance to let the mind wander and take a break from work consistently reaps rewards when we return to the clinic!
